All food will be provided over the retreat. As we are by the sea there will be a big emphasis on seafood and coastal foraging and preservation.
All dietary requirements are possible just let me know! Anything that we forage we will eat! I want each retreat to feel totally relaxed so if you enjoy a glass or two of red wine in the evening please feel free to bring some along or a dram as a wee night cap. I won’t provide alcohol for the group over the weekend but everything else is covered.
It was a weekend filled with warmth, cold -outdoor circuits and wild water swimming (or ‘dookin’ in my case), yoga, fires, hot tub foraging, pilates, and the most incredible food.
I learned so much and came away relaxed, rejuvenated and inspired.

A weekend filled with warmth“Yaz’s outdoor fitness sessions are way better than a gym, great fun and easily replicable on your own turf. The yoga was like no other yoga class I’ve attended, this was deep work for body and mind. And the professional massage and fermenting workshops were cherries on the cake! To do all this in the spectacular setting of Torridon, with outdoor swimming, hot tubs and live music was a balm for the soul.

Deep work for body and mindYazzie has the most unflinchingly positive attitude of anyone I know. Time with her leaves you feeling inspired to give anything a go.
She makes you feel good about yourself and seems to genuinely care about helping you achieve your goals.
I’m going to treat myself to a Wilderness Fit every year!”

Yazzie has the most unflinchingly positive attitude of anyone I knowIt’s easy to slip back into the day to day chaos of life and juggling competing demands, but since the retreat I feel that I’ve been better and stepping back when things get too busy and giving myself time and permission to do the things that restore a sense of peace and wellness. Thank you Yaz and co, you are all very special people and so appreciated.”

What a rad weekend!“Wow, what an amazing experience! Yaz and her team have created something truly special and it was a privilege to spend the weekend with wonderful people in a stunning setting, eating wholesome and delicious food and taking part in amazing activities.
I loved that this wasn’t a retreat with a lot of sitting about (though you are absolutely free to do that if that’s what you want to do!) and, after embracing every activity on offer, I felt so energised! “
Rebecca O’Hara
After embracing every activity on offer, I felt so energisedIt’s hard to describe how incredible a wilderness fitness retreat is, never mind adding the majestic Torridon into the mix!
Thank you so much, Yaz for creating something awesome. You nailed it!

An incredible wilderness fitness retreat“What can I say? I have no words to describe how wonderful weekend you organised. You and the team went the extra mile to makes us all feel welcome and part of the community. I do usually struggle a bit in social settings but I felt at ease. It was the perfect “me time escape” I could wish for. I came back home refreshed, energised and with a happiness I have not had for a long time (3 years to be precise). This retreat in nature and surrounded by genuine people had a magical effect on me”.

The ultimate yin and yangYaz creates a nourishing environment in her own family home and with her talented cookery skills.
Her food is incredibly tasty and nutritious. I feel more toned and less bloated than when I arrived which is an unexpected bonus!

a nourishing environmentThe stunning scenery and peaceful mountainous backdrop is the cherry on top of this incredible retreat experience.
Thank you, Yaz, Sarah, Eve, Hannah, Ghillie and Lulu for a wonderful weekend. I will definitely be back with friends!

stunning scenery and peaceful mountainous backdrop is the cherry on top of this incredible retreat experience.A fabulous weekend in Torridon, with the greatest team. Joyful and so inclusive (age and ability). This is my third Wilderness Fit and am so looking forward to the next one (where are we going Yaz?). Outdoor exercise, lifting rocks, mountain climbers upside down on a tree, pull ups – all the regular gym stuff but in the fresh air, using nature.
Chances for sea loch dips, a beautiful massage and some interesting encounters – foraging mushrooms, fermenting sauerkraut, fiddle music evening and a mighty long walk up Beinn Aligin in the blazing sunshine. What could be better?
Fiona Lewis
Sea loch dips and mighty long walk up Beinn AliginTime stood still for me this weekend. I was a bit apprehensive coming to a retreat on my own but I did not need to worry as Yaz and her team gave us such a warm welcome.
The calming atmosphere was inspiring meeting so many strong women and learning from their disciplines (yoga, fermentation, strength training, pilates) and was definite highlight for me.
