Don’t want to commit to a full weekend? You can organise just a day with Yaz, which can include:
- A guided mountain day
- A fun and creative fitness session at a location of your choice
You can also add a wild swim and fire pit and a picnic or outdoor feast.
Prices vary depending on what you choose to do with the day.
Contact Yaz to discuss your wishes, and she can also help design the perfect day for you or a small group.
Day Retreats
Greenbrae Steading:
Greenbrae Steading is a flexible co-working and event space nestled between Hopeman and Burghead, with amazing views of the Moray Firth.
This location can be super cosy with beautiful wood-burning stoves inside the steading, or, on a hot summer's day, the doors are open and there’s plenty of space on the grounds to eat outside and enjoy yoga classes overlooking the sea.
The two events listed here are run by Yaz and Sarah, who you can read more about under ‘Meet the team.’
Date: May 19th 2024
Time: 2PM - 6PM
Price: £70 Per Person (£60 for members)
Spring awakening:
Kickstart the body after hibernation and get ready to move with the seasons into perhaps a slightly faster pace as everyone is suddenly full of energy.
This day will involve:
Fun and creative beach workout
Optional sea swim
Outdoor Yoga flow
Healthy and fresh seasonal feast

Date: November 2nd 2024
Time: 2PM - 6PM
Price: £70 Per Person (£60 for members)
Winter warmer:
Move into winter together as the days draw shorter, and the natural reaction is to retreat, which is great, but it’s also important to keep our minds clear and our bodies moving at this time.
A slower-paced day to the spring awakening event, however, still all the same activities are included.
This day will involve:
Fun and creative beach workout
Optional sea swim
Cosy and restorative yoga by the fire
Warm and nourishing winter feast
If you only do one retreat, make it this one. Connect or Reconnect with the Scottish highlands in a fully immersive experience that does wonderful things for your soul. Don’t even think about it, GO!! Promise you’ll love it!!!
Amanda Christie
Amanda ChristieThe stunning scenery and peaceful mountainous backdrop is the cherry on top of this incredible retreat experience. Thank you, Yaz, Sarah, Eve, Hannah, Ghillie and Lulu for a wonderful weekend. I will definitely be back with friends!
Corinne Thomas
Corinne ThomasYaz creates a nourishing environment in her own family home and with her talented cookery skills. Her food is incredibly tasty and nutritious. I feel more toned and less bloated than when I arrived which is an unexpected bonus!

Fiona Richardson
Fiona RichardsonThank you to Yaz – the most welcoming host – wicked fitness instructor, spectacular host and all-around lovely soul. Hannah – looking forward to my lovingly massaged sauerkraut in a couple of weeks, and wow- the fermented feast! Sarah for the most relaxing yoga I have ever done. LuLu for an epic massage and Eve for kicking it all off with pilates. And to the other guests I met – what a lovely bunch and lots of laughs!
If you have the opportunity to go on one of WildernessFit’s retreats – go for it!

Moira Greene 1Time stood still for me this weekend. I was a bit apprehensive coming to a retreat on my own but I did not need to worry as Yaz and her team gave us such a warm welcome.
The calming atmosphere was inspiring meeting so many strong women and learning from their disciplines (yoga, fermentation, strength training, pilates) and was definite highlight for me.

It was a weekend filled with warmth, cold -outdoor circuits and wild water swimming (or ‘dookin’ in my case), yoga, fires, hot tub foraging, pilates, and the most incredible food. I learned so much and came away relaxed, rejuvenated and inspired.
